I as a teacher would reduce teacher-directed instruction and increase student-led learning activities, based on learner’s interest based choices. I would like to show real-world relationships in lessons and have students apply the skill to enhance the content of their real world for deeper experience.
Since coming to the USA I passed USMLE (United States Medical licensing Exams) I, II, III and CSA (clinical skills assessment) in 1997- 1998. I was issued the degree of MD by the ECFMG (Education Commission of Foreign Medical Graduates). While working in the field of neuroendocrine immunology at the research lab in UMKC medical school in 1998-2001, I developed a deep interest in gene expression and human genome studies. I developed a desire to understand the use of computer technology.

Currently I am going to University of Rockhurst for my masters I Education and Certification in Mathematics for High School. I am also a second-year student in Preparing Future Faculty (PFF) Certification at University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC). In Education, Mathematics is a powerful filter and an important pre-requisite for many fields of study. Mathematics is a portal to many careers in economy and need for mathematically knowledgeable individuals has increased.
Research Hypothesis Improvement in teacher self-efficacy and innovative instructional strategies reduce the gender gap in Mathematics anxiety in High School Students. Research question How does the reduction in Mathematics anxiety benefits the field of education? What is the role of motivation and self-efficacy in learning Mathematics, and reducing Mathematics anxiety? What is the relationship of memory and Mathematics anxiety? How is general and test anxiety related with Mathematics anxiety?
